Check Control Module Version (Function 01)


- Connect the VAG1551 Scan Tool (ST) and select "Brake Electronics" via address word 03
- Advance through program sequence by pressing the (arrow) button.

- Press buttons -0- and -1- to select "Check Control Module Version" 01. Press -Q- button to confirm input.

Note:
- The control module version can only be changed by replacing the control module.
- For allocation of ABS control module-J104, also, Refer to parts supplier.

The coding is only indicated for vehicles with Anti-Slip Regulation (ASR).

The workshop code, WSC XXXXX, indicates the workshop where the control module was last coded.

Control module versions
1) This letter code is the production number allocated to each equipment version. The production number can be derived from the vehicle data plate. The vehicle data plate is attached to the vehicle in the spare tire well.
