Notes:
- Selector lever position in "P" or "N"
- Engine and vehicle at standstill
- When coding the DTC memory OBD is erased

- Connect Scan tool VAG 1551, enter Code word "02 Transmission electronics" and follow through program until "Function selected XV appears on Display, refer to On Board Diagnostic (OBD), connecting Scan Tool VAG 1551 and selecting functions





- Display shows
- Press buttons 0 and 7. (With 07 the function "coding control module" is selected)

- Confirm input with Q-button

- Push -> key.

- Activate control module identification and check if coding just input was taken over.
