Electronic Brake Control Module: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Switch ignition off
2. Remove rear seat.





3. Release harness connector (lower arrow) and disconnect from ABS control module.
4. Remove both securing screws (upper arrows).

INSTALLATION
Install in reverse order of removal.

NOTE: Models with Traction Control System (TCS) or Anti Slip Regulation (ASR) require the control module to be coded to the transmission. Use VAG 1551 Scan Tool function 07 to code the control module. Testing and Inspection
