Code Control Module (function 07)
The control module installed in the vehicle is encoded. New control modules received from the stores are not encoded and must be encoded after installation.
Encoding is possible only provided the Workshop Code (WSC) is entered in the VAG1551.

^ Check the control module identification number.

Assignment of control module

Test sequence
^ Connect scan tool VAG1551 and select self leveling suspension system control module with the ignition switched on (Address word 34):

^ Enter 07 for the "Code Control Module" function and confirm using the Q button.





Display:
^ Confirm entry using the Q button.

^ Enter code number and confirm using the Q button.





^ The control module identification is shown on the display of the VAG1551 scan tool e.g.: 4Z790553A
^ Press the button.





Display:
^ Enter 06 "End output" function and confirm using the Q button.
