Electronics Box (E-Box) In Plenum

The E-box in the engine compartment contains the Engine Control Module (ECM), the Transmission Control Module (TCM) and the Cruise Control, Control Module.

Removing:
- Remove screws from plenum cover in engine compartment and remove cover.
- Remove 4 screws of E-box cover and remove cover.







1 - Cruise Control, Control Module
2 - Engine Control Module (ECM)
3 - Transmission Control Module (TCM) for automatic transmission

Installing:
- Installation is in reverse order of removal.

Connectors in the E-box in the engine compartment, disconnecting







- To disconnect both connectors -1- in the E-box, use special tool 1922.
