Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor: Service and Repair




Removing
- Remove knee protection bar on drivers side
- Remove left front floor mat.







- Unscrew nut -3-.
- Unscrew Allen bolt -2-.
- Remove A-pillar trim bottom left -1-.
- Remove left air channel below instrument cluster.







- Disconnect operating rod -1- from accelerator pedal -2- -arrow-.
- Unscrew accelerator pedal position sensor.

Installing
Installation is the reverse of removal; during installation observe the following.







- Install cable cam as shown in illustration.
- Install accelerator pedal position sensor together with cable cam.
