- Connect VAG 1551 Scan Tool (ST) and insert address word 03 "Brake Electronics".
- Press -4 button to advance through program sequence.

- Press buttons -0- and -1- to select "Check Control Module Versions" function 01.
- Press -Q- button to confirm input.

Notes:
- The ABS control module version can only be altered by replacing the control module.
- Refer to the parts catalog microfiche for the correct ABS control module -J104- for the vehicle.

The coding is only displayed on vehicles with ASR (traction control); coding control module. Programming and Relearning
The dealership number WSC XXXXX, identifies the dealership which performed the last coding of the ABS control module.
