Windshield, Installing







- After performing preparatory work, cut tip off nozzle as shown.

- Dimension - a - = 12 mm
- Width of adhesive bead = 8 mm
- Arrow indicates direction of application

NOTE: The cross-section thickness of the adhesive bead is determined by the dimension of the opening in the nozzle tip and the rate of application.







- Apply adhesive sealing material (bead) around circumference of windshield as shown.
Distance between center of adhesive bead and edge of windshield is 8 mm.
- Using two suctioned lifters, install windshield in windshield opening.

CAUTION: Windshield must be installed within 10 minutes; otherwise, proper adhesion of the sealing material will be impaired.

- Align windshield at sides.
Spacing between edge of windshield and roof frame must be 4 mm.
- Press drip rail - 1 - into securing clips - 3 - starting at top and working downward.







Drip rail lip (arrow) must not extend beyond engagement line-radius of gap cover - 5 -.
4 - Self-adhesive spacers







- Press drip rail - 1 - into securing clips - 3 - until stop.
- When pressing in drip rail, make sure sealing lip lies flat against windshield and does not slip behind edge of windshield.
2 - Hollow rivet
- Secure window glass in windshield opening using adhesive tape during curing process.
