Check Control Module Versions (Function 01): Overview

- Connect VAG 1551 scan tool and select address word 03 for "Brake electronics".
- Go to start position of program by pressing -> button:

- Press buttons -0- and -1- for the function "Check Control Module Versions" and confirm entry with -Q- button.

Note:
^ The control module version can only be altered by installing a new control module.
^ Also refer to the Parts Supplier for the correct ABS control module (w/EDL) -J104- for the vehicle.

The coding is only shown on vehicles with traction control system (ASR); coding control module .
The workshop code, WSC XXXXX, identifies the workshop, which performed the last coding of the control module.
