Servicing fuel filter

Fuel Filter Located Behind Cover:

Remove 2 bolts (arrows) for fuel filler neck underneath rehousingg liner.

WARNING: Fire Hazard. Do not smoke, work near heaters or have anything in the area that could ignite the fuel or fumes. Fuel supply lines are under pressure! Before loosening any lines, cover the connection with a rag. Release the pressure by slowly separating the connection.

Fuel Filter With Cover Removed:

Mark supply line -3-, return line -2- and vent line -1- and disconnect

Installation is reverse of removal

2. Connection flange hose for fuel supply line
3. Banjo bolt - 23 Nm (17 ft lb)
4. Sealing washer
Always replace

5. Bracket For fuel filter
6. Fuel supply line From fuel tank
7. Connection flange hose for fuel supply line
8. Banjo bolt - 23 Nm (17 ft lb)
9. Sealing washer
Always replace

10. Fuel filter Under vehicle, in front of right rear wheel
Flow direction is marked by an arrow
Do not interchange connections
