Connection Point, Electronics Box In Plenum Chamber, Removing And Installing

Removing
- Remove driver's storage compartment:
- Remove electric cable at bottom of connection point, electronics box in plenum chamber.







- Remove rubber seal from plenum chamber cover in direction of arrow.
- Remove plenum chamber cover -1- from the front.







- Use a screwdriver to pry off the two caps -3-.
- Slacken hex nuts -4- a number of turns.
- Loosen wiper arms -2- by tilting them gently from wiper shaft.
- Remove hex nuts completely and remove wiper arms.
- Pull off securing clips -1- and remove cowl panel grille -5-.







- Remove electronics box cover in plenum chamber -arrows-.







- Pry off retainer using a screwdriver -arrows-.
- Move engine control module to one side with cables connected.
- Unclip retainer for transmission control module.
- Move transmission control module to one side with cables connected.
- Disconnect connector from rear of connector rail.







- Unscrew wire connection -2-.
- Screw out bolts -1- and -3-.
- Unclip appropriate connector base.

NOTE:







Precise location of connection point, electronics box in plenum chamber-should be taken from appropriate wiring diagram.


Installing
Installation is carried out in the reverse order.
