Transmission Position Sensor/Switch: Service and Repair


Multifunction Transmission Range (TR) switch -F125, removing and installing
Removing
^ Remove left transmission support.
^ Remove Multifunction Transmission Range (TR) Switch -F125 at transmission and pull off selector shaft.

Installing





^ Attach Multifunction TR switch -F125 to selector shaft. Flat of splines of switch -3- must line up with flat of selector shaft -1-.

Note: Attach Multifunction TR switch F125 centered on the selector shaft.. Do not tilt switch and do not use force, otherwise the switch contacts can be damaged.





^ Turn switch until centering opening - 4- at switch housing fits into centering dowel -2- at transmission housing.
^ Install Multifunction TR switch -F125 to transmission.
^ Install left transmission support.
