System Specifications

- Install timing chain lower cover and tighten bolts as follows.
1. Bolts 11, 12, 13 10 Nm
2. Bolts 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 10 Nm
3. Bolts 4, 8, 9, 10 22 Nm
4. Bolts 2 for power steering pump 22 Nm

- Install left timing chain cover and tighten bolts as follows.
1. Bolts 1, 4 5 Nm
2. Bolts 6 10 Nm
3. Bolts 5 10 Nm
4. Bolts 1, 2, 3, 4 10 Nm

- Install right timing chain cover and tighten bolts as follows.
1. Bolts 2, 6 5 Nm
2. Bolts 1 10 Nm
3. Bolts 4 10 Nm
4. Bolts 2, 3, 5, 6 10 Nm

Vibration damper to crankshaft 42 Nm 1)
1) Bolt strength 12.9

Chain tensioner 5 Nm plus an additional 90° (1/4) turn 1)2)
1) 90° corresponds to a quarter turn
2) Replace bolt
