EGR Temperature Sensor: Service and Repair

Exhaust gas temperature sensor, removing and installing
Removing

Note: All cable ties which are released or cut open when removing must be installed in same position when installing.

- Remove engine
- Unplug connector for exhaust gas temperature sensor.
- Move line to exhaust gas temperature sensor clear.





- Remove temperature sensor of exhaust gas temperature sensor -3-.

Note:
^ Illustration shows left temperature sensor.
^ Items -I- and -2- remain installed.

Installing
Install in reverse sequence; note following points:

Note: All cable ties which are released or cut open when removing must be installed in same position when installing.

- Connection of temperature sensor for exhaust gas temperature sensor must face downward when installing. Guide line upward in a loop.
- Install engine1
