Speedometer Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS) -G22-, removing and installing
Removing





- Remove heat shield -1- for left drive axle (arrows), if installed.
Third bolt is not visible in the illustration.





- Disconnect harness connector from Speedometer Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS) -G22- (arrow -A-).
- Push retaining bracket of sensor downward, and turn (arrow).
- Remove sensor.

Installing





- Replace sealing rings (arrows).
- Insert O-rings with gear oil.
- Insert sensor.
- Engage retaining bracket at mounting bracket for flange shaft.





- Install heat shield -1- for left drive axle (arrows), if present.
