Speedometer Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS) -G22-, Removing and Installing


Speedometer vehicle speed sensor -G22- and trigger wheel, removing and installing

Speedometer vehicle speed sensor G22-, removing and installing
^ Transmission installed
- Remove left front wheel.





- Remove splash plate above left drive axle -1- if installed (arrows).





- Unplug connector from sender -B-.
- Press retaining clip down, turn sender sideways and pull out upward.

Installing
- Replace O-ring -A-.
- Handle sender carefully. If it is damaged it is possible that the speedometer will not indicate exactly.

Tightening torques
Heat shield for drive axle 23 Nm
