Central Control Module For Comfort System -J393-, Removing And Installing

Location: In luggage compartment above battery

Removing
- If control module is replaced, select "Replacement" function for appropriate control module in "Guided Fault Finding" routine.

VAS 5051 Vehicle Diagnostic Testing and Information System must be used for this purpose.

CAUTION:
- Switch off all electrical consumers.
- Switch ignition off and remove ignition key.


- Release module -arrows- and remove from relay and fuse carrier.
- Release catch at connector -Item 3- and disconnect electrical connector.
- Disconnect electrical connectors -1- and -2-.







- Remove right luggage compartment side trim cover -arrows-.







- Release module -arrows- and remove from relay and fuse carrier.
- Release catch at connector -Item 3- and disconnect electrical connector.
- Disconnect electrical connectors -1- and -2-.

Installing
Install in reverse order of removal.
