Test sequence
- Remove luggage compartment floor lining.







- Remove cover for left connector flange (arrows).







- Carefully release and disconnect electrical harness connector -2- on left connector flange.







- Connect multimeter between terminal 2 and 3 on connector -A- for resistance measurement.







- For measured value 0 Ohms there is a short circuit, for measured value infinity Ohms an open circuit.

NOTE: To check resistance values "tank full" or "tank empty", Fuel Level Sensor 3 must be removed and the sensor floater must be allowed to glide to upper or lower end position.
