Leak Detection Pump: Service and Repair



Leak Detection Pump (LDP) -V144-, Removing And Installing

Removing
- Unbolt left rear wheel.
- Remove left rear wheelhousing liner.







- Cut cable tie -1- and disconnect hose -2-.
- After releasing locking tab pull hose coupling -3- off.
- Unscrew nuts -arrows-.
- Remove LDP and with ignition switched off disconnect harness connector -2-.

Installing
Installation is the reverse of removal, note the following:







- Secure hose -2- with cable tie to bracket of LDP.

CAUTION: Always refer to the latest parts catalog to ensure that you use original equipment fuel hose clamps.

Tightening torque
Bracket for leak detection pump at wheel housing: 7.5 Nm

Torque Nm
Bracket for leak detection pump at wheel housing 7.5 Nm (5 ft lb)
