Code Control Module (Function 07)

- Connect the vehicle diagnostic, testing and information system VAS 5051, and select the vehicle system "01 - Engine electronics" from the menu. When doing this the ignition must be on. Connecting VAS 5051/VAG1551 Scan Tool






Display on VAS 5051:
- Select diagnosis function "07 - Code control module" from the menu -1-.






Display on VAS 5051:
1 - Enter code word
(figures up to 32767)
- Using the keypad -2-, enter the correct control module coding as shown in the coding table.

Meaning of coding:






- Confirm input with Q button






Display on VAS 5051:
1 - Coding is being performed.
- Wait until the next display appears.






Display on VAS 5051:
1 - Coding of vehicle system performed
2 - Control module identification with new coding (previous coding in brackets)
- Press the <- button to exit from the diagnosis function "07 - Code control module"
