Vehicle Speed Sensor: Service and Repair

Speedometer Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS) -G22-, removing and installing, 012/01W 5 Spd. M/T FWD

Removing





- Pull connector off sensor -A-.
- Press retaining clip down, turn sensor sideways and pull out upward.

Installing
- Replace O-ring -B- during installation.
- Insert sensor and click into place.
- Handle sensor carefully. If damaged it is possible that speedometer will not be accurate.
