Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Radio removal tool (T10057)

• Fiber optic plier repair set (VAS 6223)

• Protective cap for cable connector (VAS 6223/9)

- Switch off all electrical consumers.

- Remove the key.

Removing

- Open the glove box.

- Insert two clips on (T10057) in release slits on DVD player (R7) until they engage. Points on the grip eyelets of tool face outward.





- Remove the DVD player.

- Disconnect the connectors from the DVD player.

- Attach the (VAS 6223/9) - 1 - onto the MOST-Bus connector - 2 -.





- Remove the (T10057) by pressing the locking tabs on the DVD player.

Installing

- Connect all harness connectors.

- Slide the DVD player into the frame until it latches.
