Microphone Unit, Front Roof Module Overview

The Microphone Unit (in front roof module) (R164) in the Front Interior Light (W1) consists of a maximum of three microphones.

As of calendar week 22/04, only two microphones were installed.

For this, one microphone is connected directly to Telephone Transceiver (R36). The other microphones are connected to the Digital Sound System Control Module (J525).

G Microphone 4 (red) to Digital Sound System Control Module (J525) (right-side steering only) up to calendar week 21/04
H Microphone 3 (blue/green) to Digital Sound System Control Module (J525) or Telephone Transceiver (R36)
