Multi-Function Transmission Range (TR) Switch F125



Mechatronics unit, Transmission Control Module (TCM) J217, Multi-Function Transmission Range (TR) Switch F125, Transmission Input Speed (RPM) Sensor G182 and Transmission Output Speed (RPM) Sensor G195, 09E, 6 Speed A/T





Location: The mechatronics unit is bolted to the underside of the transmission housing and is covered by the transmission oil pan.

The mechatronics unit incorporates the hydraulic control, the Transmission Control Module (TCM), the Multi-Function Transmission Range (TR) Switch and the sensors and actuators as a complete synchronized unit. Included are:
^ Transmission Control Module (TCM) J217
^ Multi-Function Transmission Range (TR) Switch F125
^ Transmission Input Speed (RPM) Sensor G182
^ Transmission Output Speed (RPM) Sensor G195

The "mechatronics" unit can only be replaced as a complete unit.

Note:
^ All components mentioned are tested by On Board Diagnostics (OBD).
