Digital Sound System Control Module, BOSE 6000

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Fiber optic plier repair set (VAS 6223)

• Protective cap for cable connector (VAS 6223/9)

- Switch off all electrical consumers.

- Remove the key.

Removing

- Open left luggage compartment storage bin.

- Disconnect the connectors - 3 - and - 5 - from the digital sound system control module (J525) - 2 -.





- Attach the (VAS 6223/9) - 1 - onto the MOST-Bus connector - 2 -.





- Remove the screws - 1 - and - 4 - (4 Nm) from the digital sound system control module - 2 -.





- Remove digital sound system control module - 2 -.

Installing

- Install in reverse order.

• Make sure the foam rubber strips are installed on the digital sound system control module and bracket to prevent rattling.
