Multimedia Signal Splitter

CAUTION!
• Switch off all electrical components.

• Switch off ignition and remove ignition key.

Removing

- Remove left luggage compartment side trim => Body Interior 70 Trim.

- Remove bolt - 2 - (3 Nm).





- Remove Navigation System with CD Drive Control Module (J401) with mounting frame - 1 - => [ Navigation System with CD Drive Control Module ] Removal and Replacement.

- Remove nuts - 3 -, - 5 -, and - 6 - (3 Nm).

- Carefully pull mounting frame - 4 - out of installation recess and disconnect harness connectors.

- If present, remove Satellite Radio (R146) => [ Satellite Radio, through MY 2005 ] Radio System.

- Disconnect harness connectors at Multimedia Signal Splitter (R181).

- Remove threaded pins - 2 - and - 5 -.





- Remove bolts - 3 - and - 4 - (3 Nm).

- Remove Multimedia Signal Splitter (R181) - 6 - from mounting frame - 1 -.

Installing

- Install in reverse order.

- Perform a function test of Satellite Radio (R146).
