Electromechanical Parking Brake Control Module

Removing





- Remove the battery.

- Pull locking slide in - direction of arrow - and remove connector - 1 -.

- EPB control module item - 2 -

- Remove nuts - 1 -.





- Remove EPB control module item - 2 -

Installing

Installation is the reverse of removal, with special attention to the following:

- Install nuts - 1 -, tightening specification: 10 Nm.

- If control module is replaced, select "Replace" function for respective control module in Guided Fault Finding using Vehicle Diagnosis, Testing and Information System (VAS 505x).


Make sure the brakes are working correctly before driving the vehicle for the first time.
