Power Window Control Module: Service and Repair






Front Door Lamps and Switches

Observe notes on contact corrosion. Refer to => [ Contact Corrosion ] Service Precautions.

Power Window Control Head

Removing





- Switch off ignition and remove ignition key.

- Remove front door trim.

- Detach insulating mat from door trim.

- Remove bolts - arrows - and detach armrest.

- Remove bolt - arrow - and detach switch mount - 1 - from armrest.





- Release fasteners on armrest side by pressing retaining element - arrows -.





- Use small screwdriver to carefully release fasteners - 1 - on trim side.

- Pull window regulator switch - 2 - downwards out of door trim.

- Unplug connector - 3 - at window lifter switch.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:

- Press switch into switch mount until fasteners engage.

- Install front door trim.
