Fuel Pump Control Module

Removing

Observe safety precautions. Refer to => [ Safety Precautions ] Fuel Supply System.

Observe rules for cleanliness. Refer to => [ Clean Working Conditions ] Fuel Supply System.

- Turn the ignition and remove the ignition key.

- Remove the luggage compartment floor mat.

- Unbolt cover for left locking flange - arrows -.





- Disconnect electrical connectors - 1 - and - 2 - at left locking flange.





- Remove plugs in luggage compartment floor and remove nuts - arrows -.





- Raise floor covering slightly upward in locking flange area by hand and remove Fuel Pump (FP) Control Module (J538) between floor covering and fuel tank locking flange.

- Disconnect electrical connector at control module.

Installing

Installation is in reverse order of removal.
