- V.A.G 1348/3A remote control with V.A.G 1348/3-2 adapter cable







- Adapter cable V.A.G 1318/17
- Measuring container, fuel-tight

NOTE:
- Battery voltage at least 12 V
- Fuel filter OK
- Ignition switched off.

Test Sequence
- Open cover of fuse box at left side of instrument cluster.
- Remove Fuse (on fuse panel) -S228- at fuse carrier (position 28) (left row, 5th large fuse from top).







- Connect remote control connection(V.A.G 1348/3A using adapter cable V.A.G 1348/3-2 ) to right terminal of Fuse (on fuse panel) - S228- socket - arrow -.
- Connect alligator clip to vehicle battery B+.
- Remove fuel filler cap from fuel filler tube.

CAUTION: Fuel system is under pressure. Before opening the system place a cloth around the connection. Then release pressure by carefully loosening the connection.







- Disconnect fuel return line -1 - from line connection - 2 - (press release button).
- Connect adapter (V.A.G 1318/17) to engine fuel return line and hold in a measuring container.
- Operate remote control 15 seconds (keep button pressed).







- Compare the quantity of fuel delivered with specification.

* Minimum delivery rate cu.cm/15 s
* Voltage at fuel pump with engine off and pump running (approx. 2 volts less than battery voltage).
