Ignition System, Assembly Overview

1 - Knock Sensor (KS) 1 G61 and Knock Sensor (KS) 2 G66
- Contacts gold plated
2 - Ignition coil with power output stage (N70, N127, N291, N292)
- To remove, use the ignition coil puller T40039
3 - Spark plug
- 30 Nm
4 - Bolt
- 20 Nm
- Tightening torque affects function of Knock Sensors (KS)
5 - Bolt
- 10 Nm
6 - Camshaft Position (CMP) sensor G40
- Contacts gold plated
7 - O-ring
- If damaged, replace O-ring
