TT Coupe, Interior Monitoring

- Ultra-sound sensor for anti-theft warning -G209-
- Switch for passenger compartment monitoring -E183-

The Ultra-sound sensor for anti-theft warning -G209-, is located behind the interior light.

If the monitoring signal deviates, control module for central locking triggers the alarm.

The sensor module contains extensive On Board Diagnostic (OBD) capability. If malfunctions occur at system components, Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC) are stored. Malfunctions can be identified using the VAG1551 tester or VAG1552 Scan Tool (ST) and VAS5051 tester.
