Multimedia Signal Splitter

- Switch off all electrical consumers.

- Remove the key.

Removing

- Remove the luggage compartment trim panel on the left side.

- Remove the screw - 2 - (3 Nm).





- Remove the navigation system with CD drive control module (J401) with the mounting frame - 1 -. Refer to => [ Navigation System with CD Drive Control Module ] Removal and Replacement.

- Remove the nuts - 3 -, - 5 -, and - 6 - (3 Nm).

- Carefully pull mounting frame - 4 - out of installation recess and disconnect harness connectors.

- If present, remove satellite radio (R146) => [ Satellite Radio, through MY 05 ] Radio System.

- Disconnect harness connectors at multimedia signal splitter (R181).

- Remove threaded pins - 2 - and - 5 -.





- Remove the screws - 3 - and - 4 - (3 Nm).

- Remove multimedia signal splitter - 6 - from mounting frame - 1 -.

Installing

- Install in reverse order of removal.

- Perform a function test of satellite radio.
