Digital Sound System Control Module, BANG and OLUFSEN

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Fiber optic plier repair set (VAS 6223)

• Protective cap for cable connector (VAS 6223/9)

- Switch off all electrical consumers.

- Remove the key.

Removing

- Open left luggage compartment storage bin.

• Digital sound system control module (J525) is threaded to bracket only at front.

- Disconnect electrical connection - 2 - on digital sound system control module - 1 -.





- Remove screws - arrows - (6 Nm).

- Pull out digital sound system control module - 1 - at bracket.

- Now disconnect electrical connections - 1 - and - 2 - on digital sound system control module - 3 -.





- Attach the (VAS 6223/9) - 1 - onto the MOST-Bus connector - 2 -.





Installing

- Install in reverse order.

- Make sure that digital sound system control module engages correctly into retaining springs - arrows - on rear bracket.
