Rear Bumper Cover Mounting strip





• Note direction of rotation for worm gear!

• Unlock the right slider by turning it to the right and the left slider by turning it to the left.

• After bumper cover has been loosened far enough at bolting points, release slider via the worm gear using an Allen wrench of 6 mm.

• Several rotations are necessary to do this.

• Doing this slides the retaining strip - 4 - downward and releases the retaining bolts - 5 - in longitudinal holes (keyhole profile) of cover.

• Cover can now be removed downward.





1 - Worm Gear

• Tighten to 1 Nm.

• Allen wrench 6 mm

CAUTION!
Caution! When installing, a tightening specification of 1 Nm must be observed.

Otherwise, worm gear of mounting strip will be damaged and it will be significantly more difficult to remove the bumper.

• The slider is loosened by the worm gear on the right side by turning it to the right, or to the left on the left side.

5 - Retaining Bolts for Bumper Cover

• Retaining bolts are locked via slider, and unlocked during installation.
