1. ABS Hydraulic Unit N55 with ABS Control Module J104
^ The hydraulic control unit is comprised of the hydraulic unit and control module.
^ Do not disconnect connector (42-pin) before successfully completing self-diagnosis. Switch ignition off before separating connector.
^ Component location: On hydraulic unit in engine compartment, left

2. Brake Pressure Sensor 1 G201
^ Attached to hydraulic subframe

3. ASR/ESP Button E256
^ Component location: In center console

4. Transverse Acceleration Sensor G200 and Rotation Rate Sensor G202
^ Combined in one housing
^ Component location: Under center console extension
^ Can be checked in "Guided Fault Finding" using Vehicle Diagnosis, Testing and Information System VAS 5051
^ Observe installation instructions

5. Traction Control Indicator Lamp K86
^ Component location: In instrument cluster

6. ABS warning light K47
^ Component location: In instrument cluster

7. Brake System Warning Lamp K118 symbol
^ Location in instrument cluster in Driver Information System

8. Parking Brake Pressure Switch F234
^ Component location: In center console

9. Steering Angle Sensor G85 with ESP
^ Component location: Installed in coil ring with slip ring on steering column
^ Perform zero adjustment

10. Wheel bearing/hub unit
^ The ABS sensor ring is installed in wheel bearing

11. Right/Left Rear ABS Wheel Speed Sensor (G44/G46)
^ Can be checked in "Guided Fault Finding" with Vehicle Diagnosis, Testing and Information System VAS 5051
^ Replacing

12. Data Link Connector (DLC)
^ Component location: cover in driver footwell

13. Brake Light Switch IF and Brake Pedal Switch F47
^ Can be checked in "Guided Fault Finding" with Vehicle Diagnosis, Testing and Information System VAS 5051

14. Wheel bearing/hub unit
^ The ABS sensor ring is installed in wheel bearing

15. Right/Left Front ABS Wheel Speed Sensor (G45/G47)
^ Can be checked in "Guided Fault Finding" with Vehicle Diagnosis, Testing and Information System VAS 5051
^ Replacing
