Front Brake Caliper Assembly Overview, Brembo 18" Brake Caliper

• Brake line connection to brake line 12 Nm.

• Brake line in brake caliper 19 Nm.

• Only use mineral spirits to clean brake parts.

• Install complete repair kit when servicing.

• New brake calipers are filled with brake fluid and are pre-bled.

• Apply thin coat of lithium grease (G 052 150 A2) to brake cylinders, pistons and seals.





1 Dust Cap

• Install onto bleeder valve.

2 Bleeder Valve

• 12 Nm

• Apply a thin coat of lithium grease (G 052 150 A2) to the threads before screwing in.

3 Brake Caliper

4 Seal for 32 mm Piston

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Front Brake Caliper Piston, Brembo 18" Brake Caliper ] Front Brake Caliper Piston, Brembo 18" Brake Caliper.

5 Seal for 28 mm Piston

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Front Brake Caliper Piston, Brembo 18" Brake Caliper ] Front Brake Caliper Piston, Brembo 18" Brake Caliper.

6 32 mm Piston

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Front Brake Caliper Piston, Brembo 18" Brake Caliper ] Front Brake Caliper Piston, Brembo 18" Brake Caliper.

• Apply thin coat of lithium grease (G 052 150 A2) to piston beforehand.

7 28 mm Piston

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Front Brake Caliper Piston, Brembo 18" Brake Caliper ] Front Brake Caliper Piston, Brembo 18" Brake Caliper.

• Apply thin coat of lithium grease (G 052 150 A2) to piston beforehand.

8 Protective Caps for 32 mm Piston

• Do not damage when installing piston.

9 Protective Caps for 28 mm Piston

• Do not damage when installing piston.

10 Support Plate

11 Bolt

• 6 Nm

12 Connecting Line

• 17 Nm
