Fuel Filter for Vehicles without Fuel System Return Line

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Drip tray

Removing

Observe safety precautions. Refer to => [ Safety Precautions ] Fuel Supply System.

Observe rules for cleanliness. Refer to => [ Clean Working Conditions ] Fuel Supply System.

- Remove the right cover - 1 - from bottom of vehicle floor panel.





- Place the drip tray under the fuel filter.






Fuel system is under pressure! Before opening system, place clean rags around the connection. Then release pressure by carefully loosening the connection.

- Disconnect fuel lines - 1 -, - 2 - and - 4 - by pressing the release button.

- Remove bolts - 3 -.

- Remove fuel filter.

Installing

Installation is in reverse order of removal, note the following:

• Direction of flow is marked with arrows.
