Secondary Air Injection System Assembly Overview





1 Secondary Air Injection (AIR) Pump Motor (V101)

• Component location: At front right in engine compartment below the longitudinal member

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Secondary Air Injection Pump ] Service and Repair

• Check in "Guided Fault-Finding" operating mode

2 Bonded rubber bushing

3 Bracket

• For Secondary Air Injection (AIR) Pump Motor (V101)

4 Nut

• 9 Nm

5 Bolt

• 9 Nm

6 Bracket

• For Secondary Air Injection (AIR) Pump Motor (V101) and ATF cooler

7 Air guide hose

• From Secondary Air Injection (AIR) Pump Motor (V101) to secondary air injection combi-valves

8 Right secondary air injection (AIR) combination valve

• Component location: Back of right cylinder head

• Checking, refer to => [ Secondary Air Injection Combination Valves, Checking for Function and Leaks ] Testing and Inspection

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Secondary Air Injection Right Combination Valve ] Secondary Air Injection Right Combination Valve

9 Vacuum hose

• From the Secondary Air Injection (AIR) Solenoid Valve (N112)

10 Secondary Air Injection Sensor 1 (G609)

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Fuel Level Sensor 1 ] Fuel Level Sensor 1

11 O-ring

• Replace

12 Air guide hose

• To Secondary Air Injection (AIR) combi-valves

13 Vacuum hose

• From the Secondary Air Injection (AIR) Solenoid Valve 2 (N320)

14 Left secondary Air Injection (AIR) Combination Valve

• Component location: back of left cylinder head

• Checking, refer to => [ Secondary Air Injection Combination Valves, Checking for Function and Leaks ] Testing and Inspection

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Secondary Air Injection Left Combination Valve ] Secondary Air Injection Left Combination Valve

15 Gasket

• Replace

16 Bolt

• 9 Nm

17 Bolt

• 9 Nm

18 Connecting pipe

• To cylinder head

19 Bolt

• 9 Nm

20 Gasket

• Replace

21 Vacuum hose

• To the left secondary air injection combination valve

22 Vacuum hose

• To the right secondary air injection combination valve

23 Vacuum hose

• With a T-piece

• Vacuum supply from intake manifold

24 Secondary air injection (AIR) solenoid valve (N112)

• Component location => [ Secondary air injection (AIR) solenoid valve
installation location ]

25 Bolt

• 40 Nm

26 Bracket

• For secondary air injection (AIR) solenoid valve

27 Secondary Air Injection (AIR) Solenoid Valve 2 (N320)

• Component location => [ Secondary air injection (AIR) solenoid valve
installation location ]

28 Air guide hose

• From air filter housing

• On the rear of the left cylinder head.

2. Secondary Air Injection (AIR) Solenoid Valve 2 (N320)
