Relay and Fuse Panels
CAUTION!
Before beginning repairs on the electrical system:
• Obtain the anti-theft radio security code.
• Switch the ignition off.
• Disconnect the battery Ground (GND) strap.
• After reconnecting vehicle battery, re-code and check operation of anti-theft radio. Also check operation of clock and power windows according to Repair Information and/or Owner's Manual.
• Steps after reconnecting voltage supply => Battery.
Plenum Chamber E-Box Connection Point
Removing
• All cable ties opened or cut during engine removal must be reinstalled at the same locations during installation.
- Remove driver's storage compartment.
- Unbolt the electrical cable at bottom of connection point, E-Box in plenum chamber.
- Remove rubber seal for plenum chamber cover.
- Remove plenum chamber cover - 1 - toward front - arrows -.
- Use a screwdriver to pry off the two caps - 3 -.
- Loosen hex nuts - 4 - by several turns.
- Loosen wiper arm - 2 - from wiper axle by lightly tilting.
- Remove hex nuts completely and remove wiper arms.
- Disconnect securing clips - 1 - and remove cowl panel grill - 5 -.
- Remove cover for E-box, plenum chamber - arrows -.
- Using a screwdriver, pry off retaining bar - arrow -.
- Set aside Engine Control Module (ECM) with cables connected.
- Unclip Transmission Control Module (TCM) retaining bracket.
- Set aside Transmission Control Module (TCM) with cables still connected.
- If present, cut through cable ties.
- Disconnect connectors at rear of connector rail.
- Unscrew wire connection - 2 -.
- Remove bolts - 1 - and - 3 -.
- Unclip the corresponding connector base.
• Check the exact assignment for connection point E-Box plenum chamber in the current wiring diagram.

Installing
Installation is reverse of removal, paying attention to the following:
• All cable ties opened or cut during engine removal must be reinstalled at the same locations during installation.
