Right Secondary Air Injection Combination Valve, Checking

Test conditions

• Hose connections properly sealed.

Work sequence

- Remove the Right combination valve. Refer to Engine Mechanical Repair Information.

Connect an appropriate assisting hose - arrow - to the combination valve.





- Blow into assisting hose using light pressure (do not use pressurized air).

• Combination valve must remain closed preventing air from passing through.

- Blow into the assisting hose using a higher pressure (do not use pressurized air).

• The combination valve must open allowing air to pass through.

If the valve does not open and close, or is stuck:

- Replace the Right combination valve. Refer to Engine Mechanical Repair Information.
