Front Parking Aid Sensor, from MY 2007

Removing





Outer sensor - vehicles without charge air cooler/auxiliary cooler:

- On vehicles with parking heater, remove parking/auxiliary heater exhaust pipe screws - arrows - at noise insulation.

- Unfasten bolts/quick-release fasteners - 1 - and - 2 - and detach front noise insulation.





Outer sensor - vehicles with charge air cooler/auxiliary cooler:

- Remove front bumper cover.

Inner sensor:

- Remove front bumper cover.

- Remove the radiator grille.

All:





- Disconnect electrical harness connector - 1 - at sensor.

- Press both retainer tabs to side - arrows - and press sensor - 2 - from outside towards inside.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:

Outer sensor - vehicles with charge air cooler/auxiliary cooler:

- Install front bumper cover.

Inner sensor:

- Install front bumper cover.

- Install the radiator grille.
