Holding Frame






Front Seats

From 06.2006, the usual wiring harness routing to connector station under front seat. Refer to => [ Connectors, Disconnecting ] Front Seats has been replaced with modular wiring routing => [ Modular Wiring Routing Assembly Overview, from June 2006 ] Front Seats.

The modular wiring routing has not been implemented for all countries.

Check version of front seat and of vehicle and perform repairs accordingly.

Note the two possible versions of the modular wiring routing, Modular Light or Modular. Refer to => [ Modular Wiring Routing Versions ] Front Seats.

Removing

- Remove backrest cover panel. Refer to => [ Backrest Cover ] Backrest Cover.

- Pry out the left and right circlips - 8 - (Qty. 4).

- Open the left and right Velcro fasteners - 7 - (Qty. 4).

- Disengage the side molding - 9 - (Qty. 2).

- Remove the lower molding - 6 - (quantity: 3).

- Pry out clips - 4 - (Qty. 3).

- Remove the clips - 2 - (Qty. 2).

- Disengage the holding frame - 3 - from the backrest frame.

Installing

- Engage the holding frame - 3 - on brackets - 5 - (Qty. 2) in backrest frame.

- Continue to install the holding frame - 3 - in reverse order of removal.

5 - Retainers (Qty. 2)

6 - Lower Molding (quantity: 3)

7 - Velcro Fasteners (Qty. 4)

8 - Clamps (Qty. 4)

Commercially available according to the manufacturer instructions.

Use only cushion clips.
