Instrument Panel Vents

- Disconnect the connector for the instrument panel vent illumination.





• The passenger side vents are shown in the illustration.

• In order to remove the illumination connector, the center instrument panel vents must removed.

- Move the rear flaps in the instrument panel vents to the center position by turning the thumbwheel - 1 -.

- Install tool 3438 into position - 2 - or - 3 - into the instrument panel vent.





- Slide tool 3438 into the cut-outs - 4 - at the back of the vent.

- Pull out the vent using special tool 3438 alternating left and right toward the rear.
