• After installing, the selector gears must have an axial clearance of at least 0.10 mm.
1 Clutch hub
• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Transmission ] Transmission.
2 Needle bearing
• For reverse gear selector gear.
3 Reverse gear inner race
• Installed location, refer to => [ Installation location of synchronizer rings for 1st and 2nd gear as well as reverse gear ] Transmission
• Replace if grooved or scored.
4 Reverse gear intermediate ring
• Installed location, refer to => [ Installation location of synchronizer rings for 1st and 2nd gear as well as reverse gear ] Transmission
• Checking for wear, refer to => [ Synchronizer rings for 1st, 2nd and reverse gears, checking for wear ] Transmission
5 Synchronizer ring for reverse gear

24 Needle bearing
• For reverse gear.
25 Reverse drive gear
• Installation position: Splines face toward reverse shaft mount.
26 Selector rod for 1st/2nd gear

• Replace complete with selector fork for 1st/2nd gear with pins.
• Change: with spring loaded shift fork, refer to => [ 1st/2nd Gear Selector Rod with Spring Loaded Shift Fork ] , allocate via.
27 Reverse gear selector rod

• Only complete with reverse gear selector fork with pins.
Assembly of Support/Reverse Shaft and Reverse Shaft
- Insert O-ring - 1 - in surrounding groove - arrow A - in reverse shaft - 2 -.
- Coat O-ring with transmission fluid and then slide reverse shaft into side of support/reverse shaft - 3 - with chamfer - arrow B -.
To do this, threaded hole - arrow C - and hole - arrow D - must line up.
