CAUTION!
Disconnect battery ground wire before working on electrical system.

On vehicles with Telematics, activate Telephone/Telematics Control Module (J526) service mode before disconnecting Battery (A) => [ Telematics Service Mode, Activating/Deactivating ] Procedures.

If the Battery (A) is reconnected, follow the procedure for disconnecting and connecting the Battery (A) Deactivate Telephone/Telematics Control Module (J526) service mode => [ Telematics Service Mode, Activating/Deactivating ] Procedures.

Description

RNS low is the "Low" variant of the RNS-E.

In addition to the navigation system, the RNS low includes a Radio (R), CD Player (R89) and connections for CD Changer (R41) and cellular telephone. The CD drive can play music CDs.

The function selection switch is integrated in the unit (MMI operation).

Diagnosis is performed using "Guided Fault-Finding".
