Navigation System II-D, Operating Electronics, Navigation Control Module

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

Radio removal tool (T10057)

- Turn off all electrical components.

- Remove ignition key.

Removing

- Place Radio Release Tool (T10057) in release slits on Operating Electronics, Navigation Control Module (J402) until they engage. Points on grip eyes face outward.





- Remove Operating Electronics, Navigation Control Module (J402) from instrument panel.

- Release connectors on Operating Electronics, Navigation Control Module (J402) and remove it.

- Remove Radio Release Tool (T10057) by pressing locking tabs on Radio (R).

Installing

- Connect all harness connectors.

- Carefully slide Operating Electronics, Navigation Control Module (J402) into instrument panel and allow it to engage in installation frame.

- Perform adaptations and coding on Operating Electronics, Navigation Control Module (J402) if necessary.
