Inner Headrest Guides without Locking Mechanism

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Hook (3438)





Removing





- Push release button - 2 - in - direction of arrow A - and pull headrest - 1 - upward as far as possible - arrow B -, keep release button pushed while doing so.

- Guide hook (3438) into hole in headrest - 1 - and engage hook at retaining tab - 3 -.





• Hook must point in direction of travel.

- Tilt hook (3438) toward front - arrow - and pull headrest guide upward at the same time and out of mount- 2 -.

Installing





Installation is reverse of removal, but note the following:

• The headrest guide can only be inserted in one position.

• Guide lug - 1 - of headrest guide must engage in cut-out - arrow - of mount - 2 - for headrest guide.
