Tunnel-Side Side Trim, Removing And Installing

- Engine and transmission holder VAS 6095







- Fixture for seat repair VAS 6136







1 - Backrest
2 - Rear side trim (sill side)
3 - Plastic rivets (2x)
4 - Screw
5 - Bracket
6 - Retainers (2x)
7 - Eye
8 - Front side trim (sill side)
9 - Catch
10 - Connector (3x)
11 - Support
12 - Side trim (tunnel side)

- Removal
- Remove seat.
- Mount the fixture for seat repair VAS 6136 on the engine and transmission holder VAS 6095.
- Attach the front seat to the fixture for seat repair VAS 6136.
- Loosen footwell cover retaining strip from side panel.
- Position a screwdriver to head of plastic rivet - 13 - (2x).
- Pry out plastic rivet - 13 - (2x) by turning the screwdriver.
- Remove side panel - 12 - upward.

- Installing
Installation is reverse of removal. When doing so, note the following:
- Slide footwell fastening strip into side trim bracket.
