Constant velocity joints are packed with grease G 000 603:





Regrease joint when replacing boot.





1 - Cover
^ Always replace

2 - Circlip
^ Use normal commercial circlip pliers when removing and installing

3 - Inner constant velocity joint
^ Outside diameter: 108 mm
^ Replace only as a complete assembly
^ Removing
^ Installing
^ Greasing
^ Adhesive surfaces must be free of oil and grease

4 - CV joint boot with cap
^ Check inner constant velocity joint if boot is damaged.
^ Check for splits and chafing
^ Replace only as a complete assembly
^ Sealing surfaces (boot/drive shaft and boot/cap) must be free from grease when assembling

5 - Lock plate

6 - Multi-point socket-head bolt

7 - Drive shaft

8 - Hose clip
^ Always replace

9 - Boot for outer constant velocity joint
^ Without vent hole
^ Check for splits and chafing, replace if necessary
^ If damaged, check outer constant velocity joint
^ Sealing surfaces must be free of grease when assembling.

10 - Hose clip
^ Always replace

11 - Circlip
^ replace
^ Installation position

12 - Dished washer
^ Installation position

13 - Spacer ring (plastic)
^ Installation position

14 - Circlip
^ Always replace
^ Insert in groove on shaft

15 - Outer constant velocity joint
^ Replace only as a complete assembly
^ Installing: drive onto shaft with plastic hammer until compressed circlip seats
^ Circlip must fit in chamfer on joint when installing; guide with pliers if necessary.
^ Greasing

16 - Bolt
^ Always replace if removed
^ Loosening
^ Tightening
^ Tightening torque
